Privacy policy

Last updated 6 October 2026

The short version

We do not ask you for anything. There are no accounts, no logins, and no way to upload a CV. You can use this entire site without giving us a single piece of personal information.

Who is responsible

This site is run by Samuel Onoja, Copenhagen, Denmark. For any question about this policy or your data, write to hello@jobsinschengen.com.

What we collect

Nothing that you type, because there is nothing to type. The search box and filters are part of the web address and are not stored against you.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for every visit — your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser type. These are kept briefly for security and to keep the site working. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not try to identify you from them.

We set no advertising or tracking cookies, and we use no third-party analytics.

Who processes data for us

  • Vercel — hosting and server logs
  • Neon — the database that holds the job listings

The database holds job postings published by employers. It holds nothing about you.

Leaving this site

Every apply button sends you to the employer’s own site. Once you are there, their privacy policy applies, not ours. We never see your application, your CV, or anything you send them.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to how it is used. Write to the address above. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If we ever start collecting something — for example an email address for job alerts — this page will say so before we do, and nothing will be collected without your explicit consent.
